The Sir Robert Martin Prize 2004

Professor Roberts with Sarah

The Sir Robert Martin Prize is the premier award of the University and was awarded this year to Sarah Jane McMullon, who graduated this summer with First Class Honours in Human Biology. She received a cash award of £400 plus a silver commemorative medallion in recognition of the exceptional quality of her academic work, her contributions to student life in the department and for active involvement in social initiatives.

During her course at Loughborough Sarah has helped as a volunteer with the 'Kids Camp' (a student union organised programme) that provides for underprivileged children to have a break for a week undertaking fun activities. She will also be assisting with the summer camp to help locally disadvantaged children experience university in their late school years.
