Sir Robert Martin Prize 2005

The Sir Robert Martin prize is the premier award of the University and was awarded this year to James Edward Nowak, who graduated this summer with First Class Honours in Banking, Finance and Management. He received a cash award of £400 plus a silver commemorative medallion in recognition of his his general outstanding all round performance and his excellent academic achievement and was one of the top finalist graduate from the Business School in 2005.

During his course at Loughborough James helped as a volunteer with Community Action where he has taken part in numerous events to support the local community. He expended considerable time and energy in his athletics career and became a qualified Level 2 UK athletics coach, subsequently holding coaching sessions twice a week for local children. James also contributed to the Erasmus Intensive Banking Programme held in Lichtenstein and to the success of the Loughborough delegates.
