PGT Project Extension Form

Process for applying for PGT Project Extension

In the case of modules formally designated as postgraduate project or dissertation modules, students may make a request for an extension to the submission date of the project or dissertation. Such requests should be addressed to the Dean of School responsible for the module before the original submission date and must be made using the appropriate form and detailing the exceptional circumstances which you wish to be taken into account. The Dean of School will normally inform you of the outcome of such an extension request within ten working days of the receipt of the request.

If such a request is granted, you may make one more request for an extension to the revised submission date. Such requests should be addressed to the Dean of School responsible for the module, before the revised submission date and must be made using the appropriate form and detailing the exceptional circumstances which you wish to be taken into account. The Dean of School will inform you of the outcome of such an extension request within ten working days of the receipt of the request.
