Postgraduate funding (taught programme)
Loughborough University Graduate School Full Fee* Scholarships, 2010-11 for Full-Time UK Students
Loughborough University Graduate School Scholarships, valued at 100% of the standard UK tuition fee for the 2010/11 academic session, are open to prospective full-time taught postgraduate students who are UK residents. The awards will be merit-based as well as taking account of financial means.
These scholarships are funded by the Graduate School and the Loughborough University Development Trust, through the generosity of its supporters, most of whom are alumni.
Specific eligibility criteria are as follows:
- Ist class or high 2:1 honours degree obtained or expected
- In receipt of an offer for a taught postgraduate programme which is of a similar or related subject area to first degree
- Self-financing status for the proposed postgraduate programme: that is, not in receipt of any external sponsorship or other award
- Current financial circumstances
The selection committee will take in to account the personal and financial statement provided on the application form.

The closing date for applications is Friday 23rd July 2010. All those applying will be notified of the outcome of their application by email by early September at the latest.
Any award made to an applicant holding a conditional offer will be subject to those conditions being met in full. Additional conditions attached to the Scholarship over and above the conditions in the offer may be also be specified.
*Please note these scholarships only covers the standard UK tuition fee and applicants will need to fund the difference for non standard fee programs – please see http://www.lboro.ac.uk/admin/ar/funding/pg/fees/index.htm for a list of these programs.
