Any Other Information: Bursaries are awarded to all self funding UK/EU postgraduate taught students who obtained their first degree from Loughborough University and are not in receipt of any other University award.
Financial Support: Professional Preparation Masters Scheme (PPM) Studentships from the Arts and Humanities Research Council
Eligible Programme(s): MA/MSc Information & Library Management and MSc Information and Knowledge Management
Value: The studentship usually covers tuition fees and sometimes provides assistance towards maintenance costs

Full – time or Part –time: Awards are available for full-time students and may also be available to part-time students
Any Other Information: The Department of Information Science will nominate 3 candidates who have been offered a place on one of the above programmes. Decisions will be based on a number of criteria including academic achievement, work experience and evidence of vocational commitment. Please indicate on your application form that you wish to be considered for AHRC funding. Early application (by Spring 2012) is advisable. Nominees submit an application to the AHRC via the University. Please visit the Arts and Humanities Research Council website where you can obtain further information on the PPM scheme.
