Offers loans of up to £10,000 interest-free for between 5 and 10 years to start or expand a business, or for vocational or educational advancement
To be eligible for consideration for a loan applicants must be over 21 and under 35 (although applicants who are over 18 may be considered in special circumstances); candidates must reside in Leicestershire or Rutland, and conduct their business there, and must be able to demonstrate that the business has the potential to succeed. Candidates must also have a real need for the loan.
Several Loughborough University students have been recipients of a loan in the past.
