Loughborough University recognises a very wide range of first degrees from universities around the world.

Taught and Research Programme

Specific entry requirements for all our programmes can be found in the prospectus, these requirements include:

  • University degree from the UK or Republic of Ireland
  • Any LU-approved academic requirements for corporate membership of a British Chartered Professional Institution
  • Other LU-approved qualifications

English Language

If your first language is not English you will need an acceptable English Language qualification before you can register for a programme at Loughborough University. If you have been taught and examined fully in English throughout your first degree or equivalent programme, and you provide written evidence of this, the University may be prepared to accept this evidence in place of an English Language qualification.
